Ping-pong balls are extremely flammable

Ordinary ping-pong balls are made from celluloid (which is mostly nitrocellulose) and are extremely flammable:

Apparently nothing else is bouncing quite as well.

This used to be a serious problem in movie theaters back when celluloid film was used.
